The G60 Science and Innovation Fund was established on March 22, 2022, and is registered in Songjiang District, Shanghai. With an initial scale of 1.62 billion yuan, it is the first cross – regional fund in the Yangtze River Delta that undertakes national strategic tasks, jointly funded by the governments of nine urban districts and leverages the participation of social capital. The fund focuses on investing in strategic emerging industries such as integrated circuits, biomedicine, and artificial intelligence in the nine districts of the G60 corridor in the Yangtze River Delta.
